We are lurking in the centre of Brighton opposite the fire station on the main A23. At the junction of Viaduct Road and London Road.
There are a number of ways of getting to us:-
BY CAR:
From the north;
Enter Brighton on the main A23 London-Brighton Road. After travelling past Preston Park, a large open area on the east side of the A23, you will turn left into a one-way system. At this point you are almost there. The one-way system takes a sharp right-hand turn into Beaconsfield Road. Facing you, at the end of Beaconsfield Road is THE HARE & HOUNDS.
From the East;
Enter Brighton on the A270. After travelling past The Level, a large open area bounded by trees on the east side of the A270 you will see St Peters Church. Turn right here and follow the signs for London (A23). Travel north up the A23 through the main London Road shopping area. On the right hand side next to the traffic lights is THE HARE & HOUNDS.
From the south;
From Brighton piertake the A23 north passing the royal pavillion on the left. Continue travelling north through the main London Road shopping area. On the right hand side next to the traffic lights is THE HARE & HOUNDS.
From the west;
Enter Brighton on the A270 (old Shoreham Road). On approaching the Junction with the A23 you will see on your right hand side THE HARE & HOUNDS.
Parking available at London Road car park in nearby New England Street.
BY TRAIN:
London Road (nearest station). On leaving the station turn right and walk down the hill (Ditchling Rise) to the junction with Beaconsfield Road (A23). Turn left. Facing you, at the end of Beaconsfield Road is THE HARE & HOUNDS.
Brighton Station. Exit Brighton Station at the main doors leading to the bus stops. Immediately after exiting turn right and walk to the pelican crossing. Do not cross, you'll get hopelessly lost in darkest Brighton never to be found again! It's too HORRIBLE to talk about. So, instead, i'm going to carry on telling you about how to get to THE HARE & HOUNDS from Brighton Station.To save yourself from the aforementioned fate, turn left 180 degrees and head down Trafalgar Street under a bridge. Follow it all the way to the bottom until you reach York Place. In front of you you'll see St Peters Church, believe me you won't miss it. turn left here and keep walking. York Place leads into London Road. Continue on through the main shopping area untill you reach the main traffic lights. On your right is THE HARE & HOUNDS.
BY BUS:
The following Brighton & Hove buses will get you there. Just ask for Preston Circus;

TAXI:
Get yourself to anywhere in Brighton. Either phone or hail a taxi. Get into the aforementioned vehicle. Say to the person behind the wheel, "THE HARE & HOUNDS" please driver!! and don't spare the horses. I have a raging thirst that i need to satisfy urgently." When the driver turns around and asks for money you known you have arrived. Pay up, get out of the taxi and navigate your way through the doors.
WALKING:
As with everything it all depends on so many things. The most important of which is where you are when you start walking! I suppose the best advice we can offer is to follow the map at the top of the page.
